Confused about Bottle Deposits? Fear Not, Here’s How It Works

In the midst of our bustling inboxes, a recurring theme has emerged – the talk of bottle deposits. We get it; it sounds like a murky topic. But fear not, we’re here to shed light on the £7.50 deposit mystery and unravel the reasons behind it.

Why the £7.50 Bottle Deposit?

Let’s start with the burning question – why the deposit? It’s not a clandestine fee; think of it as a handshake, urging you to return our bottles. This system helps us maintain a sustainable and environmentally friendly operation.

Getting Your Money Back – Yes, It’s Refundable!

When you kick off your water delivery adventure with us, we collect a deposit for each bottle. Good news – when you decide it’s time to part ways with our water (we’ll miss you!), and you return all your bottles, we’re quick to refund that initial deposit right back to you.

Redelivery Deposits – Maintaining Equilibrium

If, during subsequent deliveries, you still have bottles from previous orders that haven’t been returned, we will charge a deposit for the extra bottle(s) in your possession. Don’t worry; the next time we deliver and collect more bottles from you than what we initially brought, we’ll credit these deposits back to your account.

Let’s explain it with a simple example:

On 10th January, you ordered 5 bottles of water for the first time. We’ll ask you to pay a deposit of £37.50 (5x £7.50). We expect you to return all 5 empty bottles with your next delivery or when you decide to no longer order from us.

You’ll order 5 bottles of water again on 14th February, but you’ll only return 4 empty bottles. In this case, we’ll ask you to pay an additional £7.50 deposit because you now hold 6 bottles. Your deposit account balance will be £45.

Your next order, on 13th March, will again be for 5 bottles of water. You’ll return 6 empty bottles to us. This means that we’ll credit £7.50 back to your account for 1 empty bottle because you returned one more bottle than we delivered.

Why the Deposit Matters?

Imagine the deposit as a friendly reminder to return the bottles. If, for some reason, the empty bottles are not collected during a delivery, a bottle deposit will be owed. This ensures that our customers actively participate in the return process.

We Make Returns Easy for You

Returning bottles is hassle-free. Simply have your empty bottles ready for collection during each delivery, and you’ll effortlessly contribute to our shared commitment to environmental sustainability.
