Why Drinking Water Is Just as Important in Cooler Weather

As the days start to cool and we slowly transition into autumn, it’s easy to forget about drinking water. In warmer months, thirst naturally reminds us to stay hydrated, but during cooler weather, our bodies can still become dehydrated – even if we don’t feel it.

Here are some key reasons why keeping up your water intake is crucial as the seasons shift:

1. Boost Your Immune System:

Hydration helps your body flush out toxins and keeps your immune system strong, which is especially important as cold and flu season approaches.

2. Maintain Your Energy Levels:

Even in cooler weather, staying hydrated is key to avoiding fatigue and keeping your body functioning optimally throughout the day.

3. Prevent Dry Skin:

As temperatures drop and indoor heating rises, your skin can easily become dry. Drinking water helps maintain skin hydration from within.

4. Support Overall Health:

Your body still loses water through everyday activities like breathing and exercising, regardless of the temperature outside. Staying hydrated keeps your joints lubricated, digestion smooth, and mood balanced.

To help you stay on top of hydration, especially when you’re less likely to feel thirsty, we offer convenient delivery of bottled water and water packs, as well as a range of plastic and stainless steel water coolers. You can rent from as little as £2 per week or purchase from £179, perfect for any space – whether it’s your home, office, or warehouse. A water cooler makes it easy to enjoy a refreshing glass of water anytime, keeping you healthy and hydrated, no matter the weather.

Stay energised, stay positive, and remember: drinking water isn’t just for summer!

Water Care Tips: How to Properly Store Your Water Bottles on Sunny Days

With sunny weather upon us, it’s essential to pay attention to how you store your water bottles. While a sunny day is perfect for enjoying outdoor activities, it’s crucial to ensure that your water remains fresh and uncontaminated.

Here’s how you can store your water bottles to maintain their quality:

1. Store in a Cool, Covered Place

To keep your water fresh and safe, always store your bottles in a cool, covered location. Direct sunlight and high temperatures can compromise the quality of the water, potentially leading to contamination. Good storage options include under a roof, in a garage, in a cupboard, or any shaded spot away from heat sources.

You can also use our bottle cover to protect your water in the cooler from direct sunlight. Ask for it, and we can deliver it with your next order for £15 + VAT (£18).

2. Avoid High Temperatures

To keep your water safe and fresh, avoid storing bottles in hot environments. This includes places like your car on a sunny day or near heat sources at home. Protect your water by keeping it cool!

3. Plan Ahead: Ensure You Have Enough Water for Sunny Days

Sunny days call for more hydration, so it’s important to plan your water supply accordingly. Make sure you have enough water to stay refreshed, especially during hotter days when you may need more.

Don’t worry if you’re running low—we’re here to deliver fresh, high-quality water right to your door. Just give us a call or place an order online, and we’ll make sure you’re well-stocked to enjoy the sunshine.

Sunny days are perfect for enjoying the outdoors, but they also require extra care in how you store your water.

Remember, while we ensure the highest quality when delivering your water, it’s up to you to store it properly. By choosing a cool, covered place and avoiding high temperatures, you help maintain the freshness and purity of your water.

And don’t forget to plan ahead—make sure you have enough water on hand for those hot days. Whenever you need more, we’re just a call or click away, ready to deliver fresh water right to your door.

Stay hydrated, stay refreshed, and enjoy the sunshine!

  4. Weight Management Made Easy
    • Looking to shed a few pounds? Drinking water can aid in weight loss efforts by promoting feelings of fullness and boosting metabolism. Plus, choosing water over sugary beverages reduces calorie intake and supports overall health.

Confused about Bottle Deposits? Fear Not, Here’s How It Works

In the midst of our bustling inboxes, a recurring theme has emerged – the talk of bottle deposits. We get it; it sounds like a murky topic. But fear not, we’re here to shed light on the £7.50 deposit mystery and unravel the reasons behind it.

    Why the £7.50 Bottle Deposit?

Let’s start with the burning question – why the deposit? It’s not a clandestine fee; think of it as a handshake, urging you to return our bottles. This system helps us maintain a sustainable and environmentally friendly operation.

Getting Your Money Back – Yes, It’s Refundable!

When you kick off your water delivery adventure with us, we collect a deposit for each bottle. Good news – when you decide it’s time to part ways with our water (we’ll miss you!), and you return all your bottles, we’re quick to refund that initial deposit right back to you.

    Redelivery Deposits – Maintaining Equilibrium

If, during subsequent deliveries, you still have bottles from previous orders that haven’t been returned, we will charge a deposit for the extra bottle(s) in your possession. Don’t worry; the next time we deliver and collect more bottles from you than what we initially brought, we’ll credit these deposits back to your account.

Let’s explain it with a simple example:

On 10th January, you ordered 5 bottles of water for the first time. We’ll ask you to pay a deposit of £37.50 (5x £7.50). We expect you to return all 5 empty bottles with your next delivery or when you decide to no longer order from us.

You’ll order 5 bottles of water again on 14th February, but you’ll only return 4 empty bottles. In this case, we’ll ask you to pay an additional £7.50 deposit because you now hold 6 bottles. Your deposit account balance will be £45.

Your next order, on 13th March, will again be for 5 bottles of water. You’ll return 6 empty bottles to us. This means that we’ll credit £7.50 back to your account for 1 empty bottle because you returned one more bottle than we delivered.

    Why the Deposit Matters?

Imagine the deposit as a friendly reminder to return the bottles. If, for some reason, the empty bottles are not collected during a delivery, a bottle deposit will be owed. This ensures that our customers actively participate in the return process.

We Make Returns Easy for You

Returning bottles is hassle-free. Simply have your empty bottles ready for collection during each delivery, and you’ll effortlessly contribute to our shared commitment to environmental sustainability.

In Conclusion – Here’s to Sustainability!

At London Water Delivery, we’re all about making your water journey seamless, enjoyable, and eco-friendly. Our bottle deposit system is a small yet impactful way we can collaborate to make a positive environmental mark.

Are People Bored In Business Meetings Or Just Tired? [Solution]

Let’s face it, business meetings are boring. You try to stay alert but your eyelids are getting heavier and before you know it you’ve dozed off. You hope no one saw but you’re sure your team leader did, they always do. But you can’t help it, anytime you’re stuck in a room full of people, you get tired.

It’s not just you. And yes, business meetings can be tiring and oh so dull but chances are, you’re probably dehydrated. Did you know that the air conditioning system in your place of work is the main culprit for dehydrating your body? That combined with not consuming enough water throughout the day will have that effect on you.

Benefits of Hydration: Drinking Water Boosts Alertness

The best thing business owners and office managers can do is to supply cold water to meeting attendees. Not only will it hydrate them, but it will also keep them awake and alert throughout the business meeting.

One way to supply water to employees is with a water cooler. The cooler itself is supplied on a rental basis and the coolers offered by ourselves, London Water Delivery, go for as little as £1 per week. This bottle less water source is typically placed in common areas, enabling staff to use as needed.

As an additional, managers can offer meeting attendees bottled water upon entering the board room to ensure they hydrate during the meeting. This tactic offers excellent results, especially in long financial meetings.

Dehydration is the number one cause for loss of productivity in the workplace. When your employees don’t drink enough water they become lethargic making them less efficient. An unproductive workforce could end up costing you serious money. Money you could have used to grow your business in other ways. There’s a simple answer to this dilemma – make sure your employees drink enough water throughout the day to keep them hydrated and fresh so they can perform their tasks effortlessly.

A typical sign that your employees are not drinking enough water is that they’re not reaching their deadlines. Let’s assume their workload isn’t too heavy and that they’ve always made their deadlines but all of a sudden, they’re struggling to complete tasks. They might be dehydrated. Dehydration causes the following symptoms:

    • Brain fog
    • Headaches
    • Dizziness
    • Lethargy

Encourage Employee Hydration in the Workplace

Educate them – Explain to your team why it is important to keep themselves hydrated. Not just to increase productivity but to improve their overall health and wellbeing.

Provide them with safe drinking water – If the water that comes from your tap doesn’t taste good, no one will drink it. Consider installing filters or opt for a water cooler rental in your London office.

Make it fun – If you really want to encourage your workers to drink water, try and make it interesting by keeping ice cubes and fruits in the break room to infuse their water.

While it varies from person to person how much water they’re supposed to drink, the common belief is 6 – 8 glasses. And since employees spend a large chunk of their day at work, it’s only fair to supply them with the one ingredient that will keep them focussed.
